We always love working with Melbourne Academy of the Arts and this particular project was no exception. The mini documentary produced gives insight into not only life at the Melbourne Academy of the Arts, but a behind the scenes look at their 2019 production of Sleeping Beauty.
The Melbourne Academy of the Arts School of Dance aims to educate and train and provide opportunities for young dancers, with guest Principal dancers like Evgenia Obraztsova, amongst a myriad of others, guiding young dancers and featuring in the Sleeping Beauty production.
Inspiring the future of classical ballet in Australia, this mini documentary shows the team, guest dancers, and students reflecting on their experience, inspiration or their role within the production. This documentary really is an example of video at work, capturing the spirit, passion and the skills students acquire at the Academy. Whether that be for a professional career in dance or elsewhere, a development of self-confidence and the importance of teamwork, instilled in them through their ballet training.
