The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) at the University of Melbourne plays a key role in shaping future innovators. Their team of dedicated researchers is constantly advancing knowledge and collaborating with industry leaders to tackle complex, real-world problems. Moreover, they are shaping the next generation of research experts through innovative training programs.
So, we were thrilled to be invited to capture their annual Graduate Research Showcase event which highlights the exceptional work of FEIT’s top graduate researchers by showcasing the diversity of their research and industry-driven programs, and groundbreaking research in fields like biomedical technologies, artificial intelligence, sustainable infrastructure, and cybersecurity. And, the reason for the event itself, this year's graduate award winners.
We had the privilege of creating a Highlight Video showcasing their event and capturing all the highlights including audience arrivals, crowds milling about and enjoying the exhibition setup, as well as the speeches and award presentations. Once we got to post-production, we overlaid striking graphics as transitions between events and speakers, that mimicked torn paper and tape, which added interest and complexity to the final result.
