Techlab was set up to facilitate collaborations with industry and has been exploring the potential for cobots to transform industries with the support of 5G, amongst many other exciting projects.
The collaboration between Techlab and Nokia has evolved into a major partnership. Nokia’s 5G network has resulted in many different project, only one of which is the development of a brewery with a robotic dog that’s been programmed to pour beer.
When industry comes to work with Techlab, they bring real-world problems that need solving, and Techlab’s academics do relevant research that is vitally important to today’s universities.
