The Sportsim team in Melbourne build games for events and marketing professionals. Their focus is to employ the latest in gaming technology (touchscreens, Virtual Reality, sport simulation) for lead capture, marketing campaigns and event entertainment purposes.
On the release of a number of new touchscreen game titles. Sportsim needed a series of production promotional videos to showcase them in an engage manner. The video content was being used across their social media channels, in email blasts to their excising client database, uploaded on their website and to run marketing campaigns to event managers across Australia.
The videos where shot in a cyclorama studio. A cyclorama wall is essentially a curved wall used to create the illusion of the background being distant from the product you’re shooting. It was important to the production that we had a clean background so that we could draw the viewers attention on what was most important, the game play and the animated captions. The videos required a After Effects animated graphics to place emphasis on some of the key features of each game.
Music choice: finding the right music track for any production is really important, it sets the overall tone. For this promotional video we really wanted a track that embodied those unique 8-bit electro gaming sounds, we think we nailed it.Back to home
