This promotional video is a result of the Manningham Council teaming up with VicHealth to promote Walk to School.
Since 2006, VicHealth has funded Walk to School and encouraged students, teachers and parents to join in, get fit and help the environment. Walk to School encourages primary school kids and parents across the state to walk to and from school during October.
Walking to school can help children achieve the recommended 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity every day, and adopt broader health and wellbeing benefits for life.
Walking to school can also help reduce traffic congestion, parking difficulties and the associated environmental impacts.
