Each year, the AIA awards a Gold Medal in recognition of an architect that has designed or executed a building or buildings of high merit.
The 2022 recipient of the Gold Medal is Sean Godsell.
Sean was presented with his award at the annual AS Hook Presentation.
Even though Godsell’s large body of work has been acclaimed in Australia, his international recognition is unparalleled for such a small practice.
We were honoured to capture the Melbourne leg of the presentation at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Opening with some stunning shots of the NGV, and the award itself, we also captured the attendees in a time-lapse as they came in and found their seats.
