The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership provide advanced professional learning for teachers in Victorian government, Catholic and Independent schools.
The Academy offers a wide range of in-person and online events for teachers, school leaders and principals. Until now the requirement was for the CEO or a representative to welcome and congratulate participants in-person or live online. As this was incredibly time-consuming, our objective was to continue the process of welcoming and congratulating participants while reducing the need for CEO Dr Marcia Devlin to do so in person or online.
To achieve this, we created a number of training and explainer videos to sit at the beginning and end of their videos.
We asked Senior Marketing Officer Camille Bergman how they had been received.
These videos have been incredibly valuable in reducing requests for in-person attendance of events.
These videos have been incredibly well received internally. Staff are grateful to have access to these videos that can be easily accessed and used at live events and uploaded into our system for on-demand use.
